Only alumni who have passed out (and received the degree certificate) from, the DEPARTMENT OF ARCHITECTURE, RECT/NIT Tiruchirapalli, can register/enroll. Verification shall be done at the back end to ascertain with the batch list available with the site admin, before accepting your registration.
5 years or more doesn't matter as long as you have finished the course. For us it is better that if you calculate 5 years from the year of joining and retain the same year as you original batch mates. Eg: you may have joined in 1995 and completed in 2002, but your batch will be 2000.
By registering you will part of NOSTARC and will be able to receive communications from the CHAPTER. It will help you to connect with your fellow batch mates and other batch members.
Only after registering, you will become a member of NOSTARCH and will be able to participate in all events.
Nothing. Even if you do not register, as an alumnus, you will be welcome to some of the events. But you will not have any voting rights or deciding rights during the AGM and such events.
Yes, by the virtue of you passing out of REC/NIT-Trichy, you are already a paid member of RECAL. And RECAL looks at the overall alumni, but not department wise. NOSTARCH is pertaining and more focused only to architectural and related happenings, which will of more help and usefulness.

No. Even if you select the option of 'show all' the details can be viewed only by the members. Guests who visit the site cannot see your details. To avoid unsolicited call or spam mails, the data will not be shared with any third party or agencies.
There are no membership fees. But for events hosted there might be a participation fee.
As of now no bye laws or rules, except maintaining the decorum of the CHAPTER. The core emphasis for the time being is to just reconnect and relive. But over a period of time a minimum set of bye laws will be introduced, subject to being passed by the floor during the next AGM in January 2018. This is only to streamline and channelize our efforts. To help us function cohesively as a single entity and to achieve our common goal.

Yes we would love to hear from you. You can send in your write-ups to be included in the proposed souvenir that will be published during the Jan 2018 event. Even otherwise you can send in articles that you wish to publish. The same will be uploaded on the web site and or brought out in the news letters.
