If you are reading the contents of this section then you should know that you belong to a select few and also constitute a minute part, in the small percentage of elite and educated population of this nation, who hold a professional degree from a reputed college such as REC/NIT.
I am sure that most of us would recall the good old days when only 'getting in to this institution' was a challenge and not cruising through it or passing out of it. In terms of facilities, financial implications and knowledge base nothing was lacking. Student knowledge base was high, staff base was great, facilities were abundant and our parents never had to burn a hole in their pockets to see us through college.
But times have changed now and so to have the situations. Even today we have the best of the students, but knowledge base has widened far and beyond, goals have been placed higher up and it costs a fortune to see one through the college.
