Individuals, Corporate companies can create a corpus fund for any of the sponsorship programs. The proceeds from the interests from corpus to be disbursed to the students each year. The minimum amount for creating a corpus fund shall be RS 2, 50,000/- and the preferred amount shall be 5,00,000/-. This is to ensure that the amount generated each year by means of bank interest is sufficient to fund a scholarship.

As before the corpus can 

• Be created by any individual contributor
• Be created by a single alumni batch or few batches put together
• By a group of individuals
• By a corporate entity
• By an organisation  

The funds received are eligible for income tax exemption under 80G and the funds to be paid directly in to the foundation account.

Companies / institutions/ large entities can contribute to this corpus as part of the CSR responsibilities.

The alumnus needs to identify prospective entities and a presentation can be given to them and discussed further.
